My main one right now is that I'd love to see your own thoughts on why you think Big x Shadow works. Because tbh I kinda see the potential in a random pair that in theory shouldn't work. (Like MetAmy if I'm understanding it right.)

(I also just remember fanart of them on Twitter by QKora01 that was pretty cute.)

Like, the idea of a troubled, edgy (but not all the time when he's not being written by certain people), hedgehog and a simple, silly, and admittedly sometimes annoying cat who is as sweet as the rest of his team, getting along as friends or like more idk, sound really interesting! (Especially like, imagine how the rest of Team Dark and Team Rose would react to that and how they'd get along with each other lol.)

Idk, I just like Shadow pairings that seem like they'd be interesting or a healthy relationship, platonic or romantic you know?

I think you're kind of on the right track of why I like them!

I feel like Shadow worries and thinks way too fucking much. He hides it extremely well that with the whole not emoting much thing, but ultimately, even small things can bother him.

He's always going on and on and on in little mind monologues so

I feel like people who don't dwell too much on whatever is going on around them are healthy for him, especially ones that are Aware of whatever is happening but ultimately believe that the universe will be on their side (and the universe smiles back at them)

Shadow has been beaten down by the very universe that seems to be so helpful for everyone else through his entire existence, he's come to expect bad things happening to him or around him, so...

to pair him up with someone who is SO FUCKING LUCKY and genuinely NONCHALANT????

... I only saw comedic potential at first, truly, imagining Shadow going "unbelievable" at whatever dumb shit Big gets somehow involved in and comes out unscathed from (much like a certain blue rat) is objectively hilarious

But thinking about it more... It sets up a path of like, Shadow learning how to calm the fuck down (gently gently) and just Being, just Existing, like his little (Big) crush lol

I just know their conversations would be fire
