Do you think the Boston team realizes that Shane is Jane and decides “hey it’s not a big deal he’ll tell us when he’s ready” and they play along until one person after a Montreal game says “bye! Say hi to Shane for us!” And Ilya turns ghostly white and everyone starts sweating and fumbling and is like “HAHA I MEANT JANE. Yup! Everything is cool and normal slip of the tongue. Shane is a unisex name it’s fine hahahaa” and Ilya either slips out of the room without breaking eye contact with Marly or like pulls one of them aside and goes “ok when’d you figure it out”
