Sunset in Hirakata, Osaka
Look at that sky… purple, pink, orange — honestly Japan didn’t need to go this hard for a random evening in Hirakata.
It was one of those sunsets that makes everyone suddenly stop walking for a second like NPCs gaining consciousness.
After a humid day where the air felt like hot soup, there was finally a little breeze during sunset. The kind that arrives dramatically as if nature itself is apologising for earlier.
And for a few minutes, everything just felt soft.
I really love moments like this. Tiny unexpected bits of beauty that appear out of nowhere between normal life. No big event, no special occasion — just the sky casually putting on a masterpiece for free.
Very generous considering the emotional damage summer humidity causes.
Anyway, the wind stopped me feeling like a microwaved dumpling, so overall a successful evening.
