i do think queer men can benefit from the patriarchy. like duh. but they are also marginalized for it, because at the end of the day, the patriarchy is not built for queer men; in fact, queer men are a gigantic threat to it! so yes, individually, sometimes queer men benefit from being perceived as masc. but it is not a systemic privilege in the way it is for conforming men.
trans men are a fucking gray area of both oppression and privilege the same way gay men are but neither group are The Oppressors even if part of their identity aligns with that system bc another part of their identity is diametrically opposed to that system of oppression. idk why this is so hard for ppl to understand. all queer people are oppressed. all queer people are oppressed. all queer people are oppressed. stop it with the infighting when the patriarchy hates all of us.
