Sorry for not updating in a while. I know I said twice a week and I do plan for that, but right now I'm in... less than ideal situations.

I've been struggling with my identity, and that's made running this blog kind of difficult. I think I've figured it out but honestly? Gender is so... weird, and I just can't find any language to properly enunciate my feelings. So running a blog about non-binary gender positivity feels... I guess I just feel like I can't properly do it.

I also don't have many friends which translates to not knowing a lot of varied people, which translates to kind of just rehashing the same 5 types of people over and over and I feel like y'all deserve better than that.

I'll try to get to a once-a-week schedule, with more varied types of enbys soon.

Comment any types of enbys you'd want to see. Any encouragement from anyone also struggling with identity would be hella appreciated

Rootbeer - vanilla ice cream, tweed jackets, converse shoes with writing on them, small pizza places, hates ranch sauce

Gingerale - lo-fi beat tapes, homemade soup, grandma candies in their bag, works or wants to work in the medical field, useless trivia

Orange - beatboxing, pizza + game night, knows the night shift convenience store clerks on a first-name basis, dazzling smile, night owl

Cream - cheerful, appreciates the simple things, sunny winter days, bubblegum, texts with multiple exclamaition points

Green Apple - skateboards, sour candy, energetic indie pop, big headphones, goofy dancer

Chartreuse- bubbly, fingerguns, really good at hosting get togethers, hors d'oeuvres, jumping on the bed at a hotel, really bad at secret-keeping

Pear- wants to be a plant mom but can only keep cactai alive, love them anyways, meditation, likes laid back reggae, "easy come, easy go", generally eats healthy but can't turn down pier fries

Olive - calorie counting, strict eating and work out logs, knows a million ways to make a smoothie, takes hikes in the woods, will always remind you to drink water

Pine - carhartt jackets, LL Bean boots, muddy four-wheeler, crazy about sports, probably knows how to fix a car, lowkey loves pumpkin spice lattes

Dawn Romance - pearl necklaces, dark chocolate, shimmering high lighter, chocolate croissants, matte lipsticks of all different shades, antique mirrors

Afternoon Romance - reading seperate books at your favourite coffee shop, pointing out vinyls they'll love, goofy faceswaps with art, breakfast in bed, coffee in the morning

Dusk Romance - roses in a glass vase, candelit dinners, crystal chandeliers, merlot, black silk, touching under the table, smooth jazz

Honey: soft lil bees, golden flowers, braided hair, straw hats, open windows in spring, an orange tabby, marmalade

Hay: big gentle cows, milk in a steel bucket, feeding chickens, collecting eggs, early mornings, best homemade bread, big breakfasts

Harvest: farm dogs, blackberries in a basket, muddied boots, vegetable stands by the roadside, maple syrup, maple candies

Hibernate: birds at a bird feeder, chopping lumber, flannel, big warm quilts, coffee brewed on the wood-burning stove, sleeping in

Hera: modern art, hard lines in their frame and clothes, black and white, massive windows, sacrificing comfort for style, a little jealous but honestly they have a right to be, will ruin your day and look perfect doing it, doesn't give up even when they're being hurt, surprisingly a romantic

Hestia: baking apple pies, oversized sweaters, the sound of laughter coming from the kitchen, throwing fresh wood on the fire, helping to build a home or cabin by hand, will drop everything to comfort you, reads bedtime stories to children, they make you feel like you're home

Aphrodite: people call them vain but really they're just confident, sea foam and white lace, pearls and soft pink seashells, chocolate, soft lips, smells good, loves sex, works hard for a healthy relationship but will drop you in a heartbeat if you're not good together

Athena: a gavel against cherry wood, heavy leatherbound books, the scales of justice, reading late into the night - even when you have to get up early in the morning, eyes that are always observing, a war map laid out on a table, always wins at chess, the first to lay down the facts, never loses an argument

Ares: fist raised high in the air, patched jean vests and bandanas over their face, blood flecked combat boots, tear gas and molotov cocktails, will fight tooth and nail for what they believe is right, "punch a nazi, kill your local heroin dealer, queer as in fuck you"

Dionysus: drinking wine from the bottle, experimenting with drugs, always has condoms or dental dams on them, going too far down the rabbit hole and not liking what you see, the life of the party, can and will destroy you emotionally, incredible snap story, probably flagged on instagram for a nipple

Hades: mind for buisiness, no time for drama, found family, doesn't really understand sarcasm, happy being alone, a silver throne, big spotted dogs, has accepted their own death, a big romantic, "wanna go ghost hunting?"

Persephone: flower crowns and skulls, pastel goth, too many plants, a little morbid, can be so full of life and happiness, loved and respected but also deeply feared, seriously chill out with the plants, pomegranates, moths

Hecate: graveyards, mist and fog, a rotting wooden waypost at the fork in a the road, big black dogs that hide in the shadows, the full moon glowing behind the clouds, powerful magic, protective of children, seems to always know more than they're saying

Vodka: vanilla perfume, glitter, short skirts, stanned Avril Lavigne at one point but grew out of it, loves hardcore rap, perfectly manicured nails

Subtype, Vodka Sodas: still stans Avril Lavigne, loves dance videos, thinks Ariana Grande is a Goddess

Spiced Rum: smoked meat, hearty meals, carribean food, plays some form of drum

Whiskey: every event is black tie, expensive cologne, carries a comb, knows a little bit about everything

Subtype, Canadian Whiskey: Refined Lumberjack, flannels, smells like Pine and Wood Smoke

Beer: sports fan, incredible loaded nachos, looks bomb as HELL in grey sweatpants (especially applicable to lesbians I don't make the rules)

Subtype, Molson Canadian: hockey, BBQ, "I don't why people complain about the cold like it gets cold every year bud"

Subtype, Craft Beer: big beards, likes to drink but not get drunk, will come down upon you like Zeus if you say anything bad about Star Wars

Wine: used to be a huge stoner, stressed, wearing the same shirt for three days, surprisingly responsible, phone is just pictures of their cat(s), impecable taste in books

Subtype, White Wine: doesn't actually like wine, loves dessert

Subtype, Red Wine: probably still a stoner, mom or mom friend

Subtype, Fruit or Honey Wine: shops at the farmer's market, wants to save the bees

Gin: the most laid back person ever, hawaiian shirts, "don't worry about gas money", always up for lunch, works really well with every type of person

Hummingbird - mind always going a mile a minute, tugs on their sweater strings, super short hair, talks too quick and stumbles over their words

Chickadee - pudgy, earth toned thigh highs and tennis skirts, beautiful singing voice, soft without being shy

Condor - staring out at the city from the roof, dark eyes, proud, filled with random facts about everything, could probably crush you in a fight but they won't

Bluejay - fuckin assholes have you met these birds

Anyways please know I love you all and it means so much to me that you love the blog. I really don't see anything that romanticizes us enbies and yknow, we deserve that. We deserve to see ourselves in lightning and neon and flowers and stars. We deserve to love ourselves and believe we're soft and strong and powerful and gentle and all these other wonderful things we cab be.

I want you to know I read every single time you tag yourselves and its amazing. I love you all.

Embers and Smoke: amusement parks left to rust, metalworker or mechanic, campfires and toasted marshmallows, the smell of burning wood clings to their clothes, wiping grease from their hands, they were great adventurers, once, but knows its time to settle down

Birds and Clouds: daydreamer, always thinking about the last book they read, not seeing how smart they are, the feeling of weightlessness when the swing reaches its full height before falling back down

Whistling Winds and Howls: bare tree branches in November, golden eyes in the snow, whittling wood, knocking an arrow loose, so knowledgable about survival you'd almost think they were raised in the woods

Flowers and Trees: Full of life, dirt under their nails, loves cooking (not necessarily good at it), overalls with one button undone, obsessed with tea, loves deer, has a way with wild animals

Metal and Ore: deep voices, tall, broad shoulders and confident posture, glittery make up (if they wear it), thick-skinned, braids in their beards, sluts for Lord of the Rings
