it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it

maybe if i wrapped my emotions

in a pretty package,

you’d understand my pain, but wait

too late, you’re already distracted

These distractions that dominate our surroundings are preventing us from formulating relations and bonds with the magic that resides within.

As we continue to indulge in this culture of valueless consumption, we are drifting further away from ourselves, failing to stimulate our subconscious mind, which results in stagnancy, lower vibrations and depression.

We should be enjoying this existence, with the freedom to be prideful in our truth, raising our vibrations, living up to our souls standards, discovering the gifts our subconscious is hiding, and bringing to life the manifestations that were handed down to us from the people before.

If you wake up unhappy, feeling out of control/ frustrated that you aren’t living up to your fullest potential, if you know deep down that your souls mission isn’t being fulfilled, then put time aside to disconnect from it all and reconnect with yourself. Don’t lose your sanity over inconsequential things. Take care of yourself.

Tears seem to be the only thing touching my face lately.

I thought i made her happy, i thought that i was at home with her but it was all wrong, yet again.

I used to crave love because i never really knew what it was and everyone talked about it like it was something to praise, i was wrong to crave something that i now believe brings nothing but pain and heartbreak.

It ruins people, leaves them to question who they really are or what they really want. It breaks hearts, and leaves holes where they’re not wanted.

It leaves gaps between fingers that were once so happy to be filled. It makes mornings harder to bear and nights seem to last longer.

It makes people happy, only to tear it away like it never belonged there. It takes smiles and laughter and replaces them with sadness and tears.
