None the wiser, Magnus stayed on the hook and was reeled in closer. “Won’t easily find huge food like you do in Berlin– especially in Tivoli. Maybe I we can stack a bunch smørrebrød on-top of each other for you.” Side tracked. These are important sandwich dilemmas to figure out. Or at least remind Gilbert about Danish portions. “You must be hungry to visit Tivoli just for the food.” It was easy to follow along with this treat. Getting them in free, no matter how much he pushed to pay; his face familiar in this parts along side being Denmark, didn’t make it hard. “Anyways,” he brushed it off and slipped a ride bracelet on Gilberts wrist. A change of topic to keep that much attention off him. “I went and got us two just in case you wanted to go on a few. But you want to eat first, I’m sure?”

“And hush about that last thing you wanted- it’s a hard maybe. If we don’t get caught.”

“Ho! For the rides?” Gilbert asked, excitedly inspecting his paper bracelet. “You don’t mind that we don’t have any kids with us?” Obviously Gilbert had no problem with the prospect, already eyeing the rides he would deem most thrilling.

“Hmm. Yes. I want to eat before AND after going on the rides. There’s a lot of restaurants here. Which one’s the best?” Not only was Gilbert’s bottomless stomach, well, bottomless, but having a good look around the grounds was crucial to the plan of staying hidden after the park closed for visitors. ‘Maybe’ was not good enough for the Prussian. He wanted to do it! He intended to make a mental list of all the best hiding spots they’d come across in between the rides and kiosks. 

“Pssh- they don’t care if you have kids or not. The lego store, the gardens, even the restaurants can be worth a visit alone. Maybe...even a few shows? I’d like to show you.” 

Eyes peered down as if he’d find the answers to Gilberts answers on the ground. Unable to find anything between the pebbles and stoned path he offered one of his favourites; since he doesn’t know Gilbert well enough to guess something more to his tastes. “Personally, I enjoy this one. It’s by the water and they have a platter of smørrebrød and other seafood dishes. Or-- we have a German restaurant as well. The beers? Way too big.” Quietly, he added, “Even better a second time if you don’t get banned from his garden.” Also hinting at they’d come here again together.
