The woman in question was walking by herself at night on a darkened street when the man behind her looked at an intoxicated woman across the street and said, “Fucking cunt, I’d take her into the back alley and show her what I’m made of. She won’t even see it coming” and laughed.

“Thinking something through” is not an option in an instance where a potential rapist is alone with a woman in the middle of the night. This woman acted to protect another women from a direct threat of sexual assault.

Students at Duke University are planning a rally on Wednesday to protest a themed fraternity party that some are calling a “racist rager.”

People who are bashing Tyler Oakley for some of the things he says/tweets/posts on tumblr. Stop whining about it. Most of the things you’re saying have to do with him being a white privileged male. “He uses a sassy black woman voice. So racist.” Yeah, okay, I can see why people take offense. That’s humour; it’ll offend some people. But, he wouldn’t be this famous if it weren’t for people who find him funny. I’m not a fan myself, but come on, he’s not so bad. You get mad at him for using a typically “black” voice? What about when a black person uses that same voice, makes the same jokes? You do nothing. Kingsley has the same general sense of humour, makes the same sort of jokes but, does he get hate for being racist? No. Why? Because he’s black. Wow, okay, so you can INSULT and make TUMBLR PAGES about how horrible Oakley is, but have the audacity to not realize that EVERYONE makes these jokes, even the minority being joked about?
