[Image shows an extremely realistic head made of brass. His face is covered with vertical lines that curve around his chin and lips to meet each other, similar to the scarification patterns the Yoruba historically practised. Two pairs of lines of holes over his upper lip and lower jaw look like they could have been attachment points for a false beard, or perhaps some sort of draped fabric. He wears a crown that was carved to look like it's covered with rows of long, thin beads, with a braided ornament rising from the top, and a round, shield-like ornament at the front. He has either triangular, or teardrop, earrings. The neutral expression on his full lips and blank eyes give off an air of calm wisdom.
