There are things in which we delight. Those things, whatever they may be for you, are things we are drawn to. We yearn for these things and position ourselves to be immersed in them. Those various delights are occasionally carnal in nature. At times they are spiritual, righteous, and holy in nature. Either way the things that we want and the things in which we find delight are often the same. I started playing golf when I was in my late 20’s. I was a little late to the game but once the golf bug bit I didn’t want to stop. I delighted in the sport. I played every chance I got. The smell of the freshly manicured grass, the early morning solitude, and the late evening time of relaxation beckoned me time and time again. Every aspect pointed toward delight. I delighted in golf so I made time for golf. I invested in golf. Golf is not a cheap hobby to acquire, but I seemed to look for opportunities to spend money on the sport.
