FUN FRIDAY: This Game Will Waste Your Time- But You'll Love It
We can't stop playing Sinuous, and we're betting you won't be able to either. Â Make sure you can hear the music, which puts you in a bit of a game-playing stupor. But hey, it's Friday.Â

ART: Nike x Foot Locker YouTube Video
Graffiti artist Grotesk put together a special YouTube video for Nike and Foot Locker that features his famous graphic illustrations. The result is a very cool (almost Sesame Street like) spot featuring a list of professional athletes including Chris Bosh, Ken Griffey JR, DeShawn Jackson and Amare Stoudemire.

TECH: Ikea 365 Campaign, Company Shows Different Commercial Everyday For a Year
Launched to show the wide range of products that Ikea offers, the company produced 365 "in-store" TV ads, enough for one every day of the year. These short commercials would be featured both online and across select TV stations. The crew responsible for filming these spots had to make sure they were ahead of themselves and sometimes shot up to 15 in a single day.

FASHION: Left of Trend Creates a Social Shopping Experience
Left of Trend is launching a whole new kind of shopping experience. Â Rather than your traditional in-and-out shopping experience, the company allows you to create your own social shopping network, giving you style advice much like a real world shopping trip.

This Week On The Internet #79
This week's higlights include:
x. Kids Will Start Asking for iPads
x. Neiman Marcus Likes to Play Games
x. The Beastie Boys Would Be Considered Early Adopters
Enjoy!
TECH/ART: Become Your Own Little Figurine with XBox KinectÂ
In Barcelona, a group of artists from blablablab.org installed a street stand where people can post infront of a camera that reads their figure and then carves them into a take-away figurine. The artists used openFrameworks and openKinect in order to develop the installation. This is definitely a better souvenir than those flattened pennies.

FASHION: Neiman Marcus Likes to Play Games
Neiman Marcus has partnered with SCVNGR for their first mobile interactive initiative, coinciding with the start of their Big Night Out campaign. Â Users engage in Neiman Marcus-centric challenges and win prizes like makeovers and giftcards. Not bad for their first app!

MUSIC: Beastie Boys Become Relevant Again
One more reason to love the Beastie Boys: they posted their new song, "Make Some Noise" to their Tumblr account. Â In the past, bands have used MySpace, Facebook and YouTube to feature their music, but Tumblr is quickly becoming the place to be for mp3s...and pretty much everything else you can think of.Â

TECH: Kids ReadÂ
'Timbuktu' is being introduced as the world's first iPad magazine for kids. Â It's much of the same- simple language and colorful graphics, yet instead of flipping through pages, you scroll. Does this mean kids will now start carrying around iPads? Kids these days. Sheesh.Â

FOOD/TECH: The App That Likes to Eat
It may just be the best news we've heard this week (second to hearing that Tina Fey is making appearance at an NYC Barnes and Noble later tonight) this app that tracks food carts. Roaming Hunger maps various cities, like Atlanta and Chicago, and collects real-time tweets and calendars to effectively track their vendors. Â

TECH: Skype In The Classroom
Connecting teachers all around the word, Skype has officially launched their 'Skype in the Classroom' networks for educators. The platform lets teachers create a profile about themselves and the classes they teach and then connect with others. This allows them to have guest speakers without travel, take virtual field trips and partner lesson plans with other classrooms. One fifth-grade teacher in Missouri used Skype in the Classroom to find five partner classrooms for her 'weather around the world' project.

MUSIC: Amazon's Cloud Player Under Fire from Music Industry
The music industry is starting yet another feud- this time with Amazon.com which has just introduce their new Cloud Player. Allowing users to upload their playlists to Amazon's servers and then stream their music from any compatible device, the Cloud Player is rubbing music labels the wrong way. Â
