The Sims 4 Base Game Available FREE for a Limited Time

2) It’s making me pay for an Origin subscription for $5+ a month! I’m sure they are trying to market this service to you when you go to redeem the game. Don’t worry, you don’t NEED a paid subscription. Think of it like Amazon Prime. With a subscription some games are available to you for free, but games are still available individually. This promotion is temporary but the game is truly free and can be redeemed on a free account. Decline the offers for the subscription and redeem the base game (not the deluxe edition. That one you need to pay for). You might have to tell them you don’t want the subscription a couple times, but you do not need to subscribe to get the game.

3) Why would they do this?? It must be a scam! They need to make money somehow! Yes they do. And this does actually benefit them. The Sims 4 originally came out in 2014. It’s about 5 years old now which is considered a bit outdated for a video game. At this point… most people are not buying Sims 4 anymore, and they certainly aren’t buying it at full price! By letting a lot of players get the base game for free, people are going to get really into the game and want more content. And those people might buy expansion packs and add ons. It’s the same basic principle as almost any free game on the market. You get the game free and if you want extra material, you pay for that. But the base game is TRULY free! You don’t NEED to buy extra content, but SOME people will, and that is how they are making money by offering the game for free. The game is perfectly playable without the extra content.

At first, I find a town I like.

Then it needs World Adventures.

Then, I find another town I like. But this needs World Adventures, too.

And then, there’s a town that doesn’t need World Adventures.

But it needs a stuff pack.

Then, there’s one that just needs the base game.

It is your simblr, your game and your place for relaxing. 

You don’t owe anything to anyone.

You can change stories, challenges how many times you want if you feel like playing with ten different challenges , quitting some and starting new, you can it is your blog. 

Don’t let anyone dictate how you play your game, how you post or write your stories. Your blog, your rules, you decide. 

You can take breaks and hiatuses and it is not a bad thing, instead a good thing for you! 

Be mindful of others and be friendly, treat other simmers how you want to be treated. Courtesy and good manners get you far. 

Make someone happy daily and post on their post, like all posts, or send a little ask with nice words. 

Play sims and enjoy the game, play it for you and if you feel like sharing the game play , writing a story you do that. 

Block all anon hate and do not post that. Posting messages from salty anons gives them just more boost, Block and delete, rinse and repeat, if nothing else helps turn anon off.
