her     heart     thunders     in     her     chest     at     jb’s     words.     she     was     the     first     person     that     she     had     ever     dated     that     she     had     truly     shared     all     of     herself     with.     there     was     no     hiding     all     the     family     drama     or     merge.     she     knew     about     all     of     it.     still     the     fear     of     losing     jb     was     ever     present,     knowing     that     the     people     in     her     life,     the     people     that     cared     the     most     about     her     and     she     cared     the     most     about     could     not     approve     of     them     together.     the     idea     of     it     something     that     josie     often     had     to     push     away     from     the     forefront     of     her     mind     or     she     would     never     be     able     to     enjoy     the     time     she     spent     with     jb.     a     fear     and     worry     that     was     reserved     for     late     night     conversations     with     lizzie     or     ever     so     often     with     jb     herself. still     hearing     the     words     coming     out     of     her     mouth     stunned     her     into     stillness     for     a     few     moments     before     her     hand     reached     out     to     hold     hers.     her     throat     feels     tight     and     the     words     she     wants     to     say     seem     to     have     gotten     caught.     a     thousand     thoughts     flying     through     her     head.     “     i     know,     but     i     never     want     to     be     the     person     that     makes     you     lose     your     pack.     ”     her     voice     is     soft     when     she     finally     manages     to     speak.     she     know     what     the     pack     meant     to     her     and     she     knows     how     important     family     is.     it     was     something     the     two     had     in     common,     and     the     idea     that     josie     was     the     reason     why     jb     could     lose     something     so     important     like     that     made     her     queasy.     “     i     love     you     and     i     don’t     want     to     lose     you.     ”
