How do you describe what you’re feeling when it has kept you silent in the dark?

It’s a blank tragedy. 

Unable to express the pain, it’s all a facade. 

It’s crumbling.

Where does the will go when the heart is no longer listening?

Sadness, complete sadness.

The grip is too tight, I cannot shake it. 

Bob tells me otherwise.

Marcus believes in Jesus,

While Alynda bleeds by the river.

Scott sang a song about his father,

Seth was his only brother.

And maybe one day,

They’ll hear what I’ll have to say.

Foolishness strikes deep in the hearts of men. 

I tell you I grieve for nothing, but my heart remains bleeding.

Who is lying, my mind or my body? 

Kiss the lips that long to be relinqushed,

Hold the hands that yearn to be remembered.

Like the memories you’ve yet to make.

Death will swallow us whole,

but it’s the will that treads among the mud,

when there is nothing,

and happiness is dwindled by the never forgiving wind,

like the glimmer of sun before the storm. 

An everlasting torrent of wind and fire. 

I stood firm in the muck,

beneath the grounds that never hardened, 

rather sucked my dying efforts,

to stay above, to live, to breathe.

The Violent cries of thunder and lightning 

shook the tears out of my eyes.

The twisted, yet so delicate beauty 

that surrounds the wicked ways of life,

the cruelty of God and men,

the fucked up fate that left me here to die,

pierced the very fabric of my being,
