Do you ever feel like there’s not a person in the world that loves you?

so this one is not remotely canon, but i really like the idea of a character who is so driven by her emotional connections with people being aro. my headcanon is that elena gilbert is aromantic and pansexual. i think that aro!elena really likes the idea of romantic love, and is attracted to and fascinated by the salvatores and their love for her, but it’s just not a thing that happens for her - that’s part of the reason she has so much difficulty choosing between them.
