Plot: Y/N was dating Shawn Mendes until he publicly cheated on her with Camila Cabello. After the incident by 4 months Y/N released a song, Guys My Age, calling out Shawn. Meanwhile she’s dating Kpop idol Jung Hoseok , who is 4 years older than her.

Shawn’s voice rang through her head, taunting her, breaking her down bit by bit. It wasn’t supposed to be like that, it wasn’t supposed to end by hatred and envy. She wasn’t supposed to find out through fans with a photo of them kissing.

I feel nothing towards him. It was a small crush years ago. You are my friend, I will never do that to you. I guess it kinda happened. I didn’t mean for you to find out like this. I am sorry.

Camila’s voice was like a bad song stuck in her mind, she wanted to get rid of it but she can’t. The way her voice was sincere but her eyes were blank punched a hole through her heart. They were supposed to be friends. They were supposed to stick by each other, no fame and no boys will break this up. The words flashed in her mind, the words they promised each other back in 2016.

She gave him everything, her trust, her time, her spirit, her love, yet all of this wasn’t enough for him. He threw all of it  with no care like it was the easiest thing to do. She was ready to do anything her asked of her. How many times has she missed out family events for him. She missed out on award shows for him. She missed out on rehearsals and sound checks for him. And it wasn’t enough. She felt like an idiot. People warned her, family, fans, interviewers, they told her that it will happen, they all warned her, but she didn’t listen. Oh, how the media loved it. They ate it up like the hungry savages they are. They chewed her up, saying how much of an idiot she was for not seeing it, how they pitied the girl whose boyfriend cheated on with one of her close friends. Oh, how she wanted to cry when they shoved their cameras in her face, how she wanted to scream until she wouldn’t be able to sing for months. These vaulters  lived for the drama, for seeing her being torn apart. They hanged on straws of people’s lives, they always wanted someone to talk and gossip about, they were always waiting for the next scandal. Oh, how she’d give them something to talk about.
