i really do wonder if the weird rift between buck and eddie is wholly bobby shaped and based on everything that kind of happened in 8x17 and how their fight wasn't really actually resolved like it actually kind of felt like eddie backing buck up about bobby being in his house gave buck and opening to invite eddie to hang out and then eddie flipped on him (and don't get me wrong i get it - eddie's belief in Unexplained Things was based on his faith and how he was reconnecting and then the thing with Abigail happened and he went oh right this is why i actually HATE this whole religion thing and why i don't believe because it leads down dangerous roads) like he really was just like oh maybe eddie DOES want to hang out with me and me and eddie and chris can be like old times (because really why WOULD he invite chris other than he wants it to feel like it used to, before this tension, before bobby died and it flipped some switch between them and they haven't been able to get that back) and then not only did eddie turn him down, he did it in a really and truly epic way so of course buck went to ravi because he's trying to be okay with the rift between him and eddie he's trying and it's hard and he misses eddie and chris and it feels weird that the last time they really really felt close was when eddie lived 800 miles away.
