Peter always knew Johnny Storm was attractive. Conventionally, of course. All of the tabloids said so and Peter wasn’t blind. When Johnny would turn his head and the light would hit just right… Of course, Peter only took note of that because it would have made a good shot. It was nothing more than him wishing he had his camera. That’s all it was. Right?

Johnny had been in love with someone else, he’d had a happily ever after with them that just wasn’t meant to last. Month’s later he wondered if it was time to try again, but did that mean facing what might have been the most annoying realization he’d ever had?

I've heard you've got to write the fics you want to read, so of course I had to write a FF/Spideytorch time loop fic. Here's a sneak peak of the first few paragraphs...

The world ended on a Tuesday night.

It was ironic, really, because as it all began, nothing was out of the ordinary. Deadly attack after a family dinner? Normal. Telling the kids to lay low while they throw on their uniforms? Normal. Punking on some doombots? Normal. Avengers rolling up to the party even though they’re not really needed? Normal.

A regular Tuesday night. Almost boring, even, as Johnny incinerated another batch of doombots, letting his eyes scan the battle in front of him, waiting for an explosion to absorb or a bot to melt. Victor hadn’t been spotted yet, which was unusual, but it’s about the only odd thing Johnny had noticed. 

A blur of red and blue whizzed past him. Johnny found himself smiling. Typical Tuesday night indeed.

“What, no invite?” Peter called, webbing a doombot and swinging it around to collide with the ground, “Color me offended!”

“Pretty sure the explosions are your invite,” Johnny said, throwing a fireball at the smashed robot for good measure, “and anyways, you always come crawling around, Webhead.”
