Five months ago, I had the chance to meet the person I met somewhere in the internet. It was pure bliss. I can't forget his face and until now I still want to see that face, those eyes, those smile. Unfortunately, something happened along the way and our communication was forcefully made to cease. And now, I still miss him, I still think of him, I still wait for him to check out on me. Still waiting for his email, just one email in reply to my numerous emails sent to him-- emails that I guess were not read until now, maybe because he chose not to read any of those, or worst, it might be already in his trash folder.

Everyday, I've been going through our chat history. Good thing I keep chat archives. It makes me happy and at the same time sad. My heart feels so heavy, like as if I find it hard to breathe. But there's nothing I can do. Life is like this. Life has never been fair. People change and people leave. That's a sad fact of life. 

Sometimes I wish I'd never met him, that I never fall in love with him. I should have stopped myself from falling when I am almost at the brink of it, but I'm too careless to let myself fall. Now I'm left alone with just his memories. 

I do not want to get back with him. I just miss the friendship, but mostly, I miss him. I miss him every day. Do you know the song "Over you" by Daughtry? It says "And I never thought I'm gonna doubt you I'm better off without you more than you, more than you know. I'm slowly getting closure, I guess it's really over. I'm finally getting better. And now I'm picking up the pieces I'm spending all these years Putting my heart back together. 'Cause the day I thought I'd never get through, I GOT OVER YOU. 

I'm waiting for the day that I can sing this for him, because I know right now, 

he's too over me.

All I know is that, every time I hear the name KAITLYN, I freak out.
