A card I made to someone very dear to me. 💖

This was my very first time drawing Flareon. I think I did well in drawing Flareon, even though combining fluffiness and fire elements was somewhat hard. It was also fun to design the background this time, even though it was somewhat hard to color it. What do you think? Did I succeed in making enough fluffy Flareon? What about the background? Does it give the feeling that Flareon is enjoying their summer vacation on the beach?

I'm in the process of posting my old artworks from DA here. If any of my followers get a notification of "old art" from me (or those appear on their dash), or sort of, it's because I backdate them. The feature isn't perfect, so that's why that might happen. (So, in a sense, the art is new in here, but really, it's old.) I should wrap the process soon, but I thought I wanted yet another place to store my art. (And now you can all see my process!)

Edit: Finished posting my old artworks (that I hadn't yet posted) in here! (That took some time! But it's finally done~.) I should drop some actual, new art on Tuesday.

One shot Star Wars fanfic preview

A sneak peek of my Star Wars fanfic:

"No," a word slips from their guest, yellow eyes glaring at them. Slowly, both Thrawn and Sofy turn toward him. Maul is in a nice cell, his wrists high above him in cuffs and Ysalamiri on his lap to ensure he can't use the Force to simply escape their ship. The Zabrak is showing his teeth to them in an attempt to appear threatening. In reality, to Thrawn, it seems a mostly useless act and to his girlfriend it seems cute. She hasn't yet used the word, but Thrawn is 99% sure Sofy sees Maul as a cute being. He isn't sure what part of Maul is cute. He'll have to ask her later on, when they are alone.

Just an FYI—the original intention of this post was to challenge the way people say only friends, as though friendship is somehow lesser than other forms of love. As if being deeply known, cherished, and chosen by another person could ever be a small thing. Normalize profound platonic love. Some of the most fulfilling, transformative, and enduring relationships we will ever have are friendships. 🫶🏼

My scanner really hates pink and its shades. It usually eats those (and makes the picture overexposed) and when I try to darken the picture...well, the ending result is always a bit interesting. I've tried to change the settings, but nothing helps...so yeah. 😅 Hopefully, people will still like this pic.
