i thread the needle through

here’s what i’ve been up to lately! concept on for this shoe was designed by a classmate of mine based on material supplied by me, and edited to final product by me. if i’m not completely mistaken, the material is oil tanned leather with a slight pull-up effect and matte gold leather. i have Plans for the soles, let’s hope teacher will approve... i’m also thinking, golden laces. awesome.

it’s been about 10 years since i first thought of these guys.... to celebrate i decided to use them for watercolour sketching/practice  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

oh, a shoe! this is the result of the co-design project. sadly, the shoe won’t get any more finished than this simple mock-up - later this Spring I will create a shoe that was designed for me, instead of one from my own collection.

(fun fact: the colours in the first picture were closer to the actual product - on my laptop. I gotta look into that.
