happy birthday to my favorite tow truck character :D

i'll try to post more though whenever i have the energy :)

guido is so surprisingly underrated in the fandom

what a wonderful day it is to be a Mater and Guido fan :D

and yeah! he really is, for some reason

1. Mater (obviously)

2. Guido!!

3. Sheriff

4. Frank (the combine harvester)

good examples as to why i think he is:

- he takes things verrrry literally (like when Sheriff tells him to keep an eye on Lightning, Mater closes one of his eyes!!)

- the way he talks about how he’s always wanted to ride in a helicopter makes it sound like he has some sort of special interest in them (i could be totally wrong but that’s just how i see it)

- Mater’s tow cable part wags kind of like a dog’s when he’s excited which could definitely be a stim for him!!

also i’m sure there’s a lot more but that’s what i really noticed when i rewatched the first movie :)

-Guido comforting Luigi in the courtroom while Sally makes her speech (i also very much like Guido but not as much as Mater)

-that one scene in Tokyo where Mater eats an entire plate of wasabi, mistakenly thinking it was pistachio ice cream
