After their night out on the town Charli, Bethan and Hailey are at home soaking up the evening with the only appropriate 4am food -- pizza!!

Bethan, sometimes it be that way. We do everything we can, and sometimes we still gotta let people go.

THE PLOT THICKENS!! Will they? Won't they? Which they? Guess we'll find out later!!

It's Friday night and the girls are ready to hit the town... one small problem... ALMOST everyone ditched! It's Charli, Hailey and Bethan at the karaoke club. What could possibly happen tonight???

Bright and early the next morning, we find Bethan calling in backup via her friend Charli who was out drinking and dancing the night away with her. It's VERY early for two hungover individuals, but they are doing their best to be brave. What is so important that Bethan needs to talk to Charli about at this ungodly hour?

There were a couple beats of silence as Charli steeled herself for the coming conversation. She had been trying to have this particular talk with her good friend for the past 3 weeks and it kept getting avoided.

(they have talked about this particular coping mechanism before, and agreed that maybe drinking away all your free time is in fact a BAD coping mechanism)

They end the chat feeling closer than ever... and a new challenge posed to Bethan. Will she share this particular fact about herself with her roommate?? Or will it slip under the radar for now?

A couple days had gone by since Hailey's move. She was mostly unpacked, feeling pretty good about the house. Now, Hailey was staring down her new job -- starting in less than 8 hours!! She tried EVERYTHING to get to sleep before giving up on the tossing and turning and settling into the living room with a good book.

Bethan hadn't really been home much since Hailey moved in, but she slipped in the door so quietly that Hailey almost didn't notice.

The house had been busy all day with movers lifting boxes and furniture, then just before dinner time everything got quiet. Bethan was feeling thankful for the quiet reprieve, and had just left her room for the first time since the hustle and bustle began mid morning. A couple moments into making dinner, Hailey slipped out of her room.

Bethan was hoping to make a good impression on her new roommate, who had barely said hello after getting the keys. She understood though, moving days were always a marathon and they had time to get to know each other.

An uncomfortable silence started to creep into the room. Hailey looked around at her new home, bewilderment lacing her features. Almost as if she couldn't quite believe she was here. Bethan continued to chop her vegetables.

Hailey blinked at Bethan for a moment before shaking her head, coming back from wherever her mind wandered to.

Hailey busied herself finding the bowls and cutlery while Bethan finished off the prep. It was just salad, so it was ready in no time. They both sat down to eat, and Bethan was glad Hailey hadn't scuttled back to her room.

Hailey thought about this question through most of her meal, studying the leafy greens as if they were the most interesting things in the world. By the time she was ready to answer, Bethan was finished her meal.

Bethan settled into the couch, knowing the battle was lost. She just wanted to be helpful.

Hailey washed up in silence, dried their dishes, and put them away. Bethan turned on the TV and tried to focus on that. Her plans for the night were now up in the air, as she assumed her roommate would want the help.

As Hailey was returning to her room, she stopped with her hand on the doorknob.

Once she was alone, Hailey crumpled to the floor. She couldn't believe she was really doing this -- moving cities, leaving everyone behind -- for a job she wasn't even sure she'd like. And she was taking it out on her roommate. She took a deep breath, looking around at the boxes scattered around her room.

Too distracted to watch TV, Bethan went to her own room. She wasn't quite sure what to make of her new roommate. Maybe she was a loner?

Bethan is a social butterfly! Barista by day, partier by night, she seems to know everyone in town. She's very assertive, and isn't afraid to share what's on her mind. She knows her lifestyle isn't for everyone, but she'll invite anyone out for a bev!!

and who knows... it seems like Bethan's got eyes for Hailey already ;)
