Nothing worse than craving something and you can't get it or it refuses to come out the way it needs to. It's crazy, right? The amount of jitters I would be in after my third cup there's no way I could concentrate on filming - not that I'm a good actress in the slightest, so I have no right being on a film set. They do. I've seen the rare fan that seem to support both sides of things, but they're few and far between. Even then, I've noticed, they tend to lean one way over the other. People are always looking for something dramatic to play out, and because it's been indulged in the past, they think they can keep it alive. It's more like beating a dead horse at this point. Apparently it's more fascinating to hope for drama between people that have clearly been there, done that. I always see comments of "but think of the music it would create" and don't love that. I've learned through a lot of trials and tribulations that making sourdough starter is not for the faint of heart. Sounds dramatic but it's true, the amount of times I had to start over and almost had frustrated tears? Yeah, the last few years, got into it sometime in 2020, then as tour geared up it went to the wayside but as it slowed down got back into it and now it's apparently my thing. Starters are finicky, look at them wrong, and suddenly they're done for. Can definitely add you to the list and next time I make them, just need an address to post them to! I do next day so don't worry they hold up amazing so long as the delivery people aren't horrible with handling. Unless you're around New York City? Then I can hand deliver myself, which is always preferred!

You can defintiely say that you're safe from them finding you. You know you are on my favorite list of people who are going to get as much sourdough as they want, or probably more than they want. Especially when there's so many ways that you can make the bread differently. I've been obsessed with cheddar jalepeño sourdough so that's been filling my house. My parents are probably also weighed down in their weight of bread.

Are you struggling with your sourdough starter? Sometimes they can be incredibly finicky, like who knew something that is barely living could be such a diva? I have, I actually have multiple starters going at a time for different reasons, and someday I fear they may just end up taking over the house but at least I'll go surrounded in all wonderful breadlike things.
