God forbid a woman want to have fun and write something campy after pouring out her deepest, darkest secrets

this song is obviously not a lot like showgirl but i keep thinking about taylor saying she took a turn into esoteric music for awhile and then moved away from that, because this fits into that picture too. just has that sort of instant classic thing where you feel like you've heard it forever the first time you listen to it
