Osomatsu-san Birthday Gift Exchange 2017
((Hey everyone!! For those who werenāt here last year, I held a gift exchange for the ask blogs in this fandom on May 24th(their official birthday). I wanna do it again this year, but Iām changing up the rules a bit!
Last year I organized what was along the lines of a white elephant gift exchange. I essentially was trying to replicate the kind of gift exchange done in the Christmas episode.
That made things more complicated than I thought they would be, so this year Iām gonna make the gift exchange a Secret Santa. Osomatsu-san ask blogs have until May 11th to reblog this post if they want to participate. (Likes donāt count!)
This year, I also want non-matsu/non-girlymatsu ask blogs to be able to participate, even if itās not technically their birthday. I tried to find a reason to make sense of why the Matsus would give someone else a gift on their own birthday, and unfortunately, I couldnāt think of one. So what this means is that non-matsus will be able to participate; however, they will only be giving gifts and not receiving. Because of this, some Matsu ask blogs might get lucky and end up getting a gift from a Matsu blog as well as a side character blog. RP blogs may also join in on the gift exchange, but their gift should still be a drawing or picture they made of some sort.Ā
After May 11th, I will randomly generate a blog for each blog to give a gift to. I will tell you which blog you will get through the IM chat. Once you know which blog you will be gifting to, you will have until May 24th to draw their character a gift. On May 24th, you will submit the gift to their in-box.Ā
Keep in mind that this gift exchange should be in-character. Youāre not drawing anything too fancy for the mun. Your gift is for the character and does not necessarily have to be a piece of art.
Ā So, for example, if Iām told that my character will be a Secret Santa for a @jyushimatsurepliez, my character, as Ichimatsu, might give him a baseball bat. In doing so, I would draw a picture of the baseball bat I want Ichi to give him, and then I would put it in his submit box on the 24th.

You must be an Osomatsu-san ask/rp blog to participate
Non-matsu/non-girlymatsu blogs may also participate, but they will only be giving and not receiving
You must reblog this post in order to participate. Likes donāt count.
You have until May 11th to reblog this post.
The gift you give should be some kind of visual you made. (Donāt just typeĀ ā*gives you a baseball bat*ā or send the blog a picture of a baseball bat you found online. Draw a picture of a baseball bat)
The gift should be to the character, from your character. This is not a mun gift exchange.
Make sure that your submit box is open!! If your submit box is not open by May 11th, then I cannot guarantee that you will be included in the gift exchange!!
I trust that blogs will be sensitive to other blogs in their subject material. Make sure that your gift is something that the other blog will be comfortable receiving. This one is sort of a given.
Lastly, PLEASE make sure in advance that you will be able to send your gift on the 24th. If you arenāt able to, then someone wonāt get a gift and thatās pretty sad. Donāt be the Secret Santa who never shows up.
