Three years ago today Travis walked into the Eras Tour with a friendship bracelet and a dream.

Some of the sports bros have made some horrible remarks about Taylor and Travis for clicks, especially in the beginning of their romance. Travis must of been really disappointed hearing some of his sports friends speak so negatively about Taylor. Also, low key can tell some of them are just jealous of Taylor’s fame and money. Sports bros are the biggest wallet watchers out there.

Particularly where Taylor is concerned many forget she is an actual person. I think that’s what leads to people just saying the most inappropriate things they way they did and do about her and their relationship. I feel like it is something Travis and his friends and family have gotten a front row seat to witness and I think it partially explains why they are so careful now and less free themselves with the public/media. They seem very protective of her and him and their relationship.

taylor’s not a perfect person by any means but she gets more criticism for other people’s actions than her own and that’s why nothing really sticks

What I find interesting is how a huge priority for Taylor (and I’m sure trav) appears to have been avoiding and tier-listing of her friends. She mentioned this on graham Norton in regard to the large guest list, but I also noticed it with her decision not to have a bridal party — just her man of honor! She really just wanted everyone to come and have a good time without paying any mind to who’s the closest to the bride

because these are the kinds of people they are! their extremely close friends and family got an invite to the rehearsal dinner and (i assume) reserved seats at the front of the ceremony. beyond that, who cares! friendship is friendship! relationships can grow and strengthen over time!

because it was announced when they were married with the officiant being adam sandler? if they’d gotten secretly married beforehand with a small group they would’ve had different information (and imo tree would’ve said they married in a small ceremony and then celebrated by exchanging vows at MSG or something similar)
