I've been reflecting a lot on social anxiety as a mental illness, and also a result of the turbulent world we find ourselves in. Some days, I felt a little unsure, a little slower, and a little more apprehensive about the world outside.

I work on still image and motion picture. Both of which are driven by written text, which is the basis of all my work. 

This may come as a surprise, but I am not trying to do anything with my work but to find answers to questions I have about life and existence. Its resonance with other people is something I have great gratitude for and will always have. That is how I started in photography, by asking questions and creating around them.

I’ve come to realise that life isn’t about the end point,

so much as dancing is about finishing

or making music is about the end composition

but the doing and making. 

I’ve also realised that meditation isn’t a tool for self-improvement

but rather an awareness of the moment becoming the point.

That the future does not exist nor are we defined by the past,

the only certainty is now. And time is always in the now.

That I am more space than matter,

a god organism in a world of conventions,

people riddled by fear. Crippled by their own potential.
