Akiramenaide - don't give up
Gaman - endurance, perseverance
Gochisousama - thank you for everything
Kaizen - continuous improvement
Kanbina - describes a word that is pleasant to hear
Koi no yokan - love at first sight
Kuishinbo - a person who loves to eat
Majime - seriousness or soberness
Meshiagare - bon appétit
Mottainai - not being wasteful
Natsukashi - nostalgia; you’re reliving happy memories of your past and not feeling that burden of yearning
Nekojita - people unable to eat really hot food or drink
Otsukaresama - “you're tired"; used to let someone know that you recognize his/her hard work and that you are thankful for it
Oubaitori - not comparing oneself
Shinrabasho - all things in nature, the whole of creation
Shoganai - “it cannot be helped"; means to accept that something was out of your control; encourages people to realize that it wasn't their fault and to move on with no regret
Torimodosu - to recover
Unkai - the rewarding view at the end of a hike
Wakare - farewell
Wasuremono - something forgotten
