Ok but that fact that this was in episode one is so insane. They've known each other for barely two days and Scully already trusts him enough to just cling to him for a few seconds because she's scared and she wants reassurance. And the way his expression shifts from his little smile to genuine concern is absolutely adorable because he's realizing just how much he already cares about her. It's just so important to me that they already care about each other so much in the pilot.
