On this day in history: Troye finally announced his EP TRXYE on the VidCon main stage while simultaneously uploading an announcement video to his YouTube channel, changing all of his social media layouts, starting the EP preorder on his website, and causing us to, in his words, βgo absolutely nuts.β Within seconds, we crashed his website and made the preordering of the EP very messy and frustrating. This night however was still one of the, if not theΒ best night Iβve ever experienced in this fandom.
I honestly donβt even have the words to explain the pure unadulterated joy and excitement and pride that defined this night for us. It may be 365 days later, but Iβm just as proud of Troye today as I was on this day last year. Weβve come a long way but the best part is that this is only the beginning.
