❝  𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐘.  ❞  𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐌𝐔𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐃, 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀'𝐒 hand. he’d been sure that he’d left her undisturbed, the genius hadn’t meant to wake her up. she needed her rest, they both did, but rest never came easy for Tony most nights. it was getting better, but tonight seemed to be the EXCEPTION, for the both of them. glancing between Wanda and the plans, Tony gave a clipped hum before minimizing the image. the SI logo taking up most of the screen now.  ❝  just… it’s a precaution.  ❞  he started, turning in his stool so that he was facing Wanda, head tilted back so he could look at her PROPERLY.  ❝  you don’t — have to wear it, if you don’t want to. i just, i’d feel better knowing —  ❞  cutting himself off, Tony scratched the back of his neck sheepishly, head tilting forward before tossing back. hands rising to her waist, he sighed.  ❝  if you needed the extra protection, it was THERE.  ❞

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐍, head tilting back so that he could look at Steve.  ❝  someone recommended that to you? was it Rhodey? i bet it was Rhodey.  ❞  his nose scrunched up reflexively at the tap, glaring playfully up at the blonde as he tapped him in retaliation on the nose. RESITUATING himself, biting back a groan as his aches of the day protested — he really was getting too old for this, he hadn’t even been tossed around as much this time and he ached like hell — the genius shuffled so that he could see the SCREEN and use the soldier’s shoulder as a pillow at the same time.  ❝  FRIDAY, lights to twenty percent and play the movie. volume at thirty-five percent.  ❞  the AI complied instantly, and the mechanic pulled the covers up higher over them. he was already warm before, Steve was like a damn FURNACE and he loved it, but the extra covered was always nice, especially over his chest, the reactor tended to run a little cold. Tony hoped that the movie would help take Steve’s mind off of the nightmares, at least enough so that he could be at ease, even if he wasn’t able to go back to SLEEP.

she had to check to make sure it was actually steve talking and not some droid that had taken his face . he was actually asking her out , on some strange pizza date . but it wasn’t strange , it was them . finding small cafe’s and restaurants when they were on mission , making a list of the best coffee houses and pizzeria’s . so it did bring a smile to her face when steve suggested it . “ well i have been meaning to give my italian a practice . pizza sounds lovely tonight , steve . i look forward to it . ”

“Oh? And what new application must I learn to use?” Loki didn’t know a lot about Midgardian technology, but it only took him one lesson ( and common sense ) to learn how to use most of the gadgets. It amused him to hear others doubt his skills on the computer when he supposedly hadn’t used one before. A crash course in the history of computers and their uses shut the doubters up pretty fast. “I could always set your ringtone to my voice.”

He’d already left a few recordings of him saying ‘Good morning, love’ for her alarm ringtone and ‘You have one new message’ followed by his chuckle as her message alert noise. Adding another one wouldn’t be too difficult. He stroked her cheek before placing a hand over the top of their son’s head. “Thank you. Is there anything you want in Venice? I’m certain I can spare a few moments to buy the two of you something.”

          ' 𝐈 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐀 𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐑  two that i can let eirik listen to if he’s being difficult to put to sleep. ’     a pause, then her lips formed into a smile as she tilted her head to look up at him.     ‘ and well, for me as well. ’     by now, she was so used to hearing his voice first thing in the morning and last thing before she fell asleep, she was convinced that she would have a harder time parting from him if he hadn’t altered her ringtones and alarms with his voice.

Although, I really don’t like that term.” He joked, glancing over his shoulder at Clint as he wandered through the Halloween party store. “C’mere.” He held up an Captain America costume that was actually very short shorts and tall boots, cut off sleeves on the top of the uniform. “Sexy outfit for men.” He tossed it over to Clint. “Just what you always wanted to be: Captain America.” He teased him.

“A haunted house is scaring you? We went up against a big purple grape, Wanda, I thought this wouldn’t be anything for you.” He side stepped an arm shooting out of the wall to grab him. Haunted houses rarely scared him and this one was child’s play. “C’mon. I’ll keep you safe.” He gently grabbed her shoulder and steered her down a hallway.

Carol  weighed  her  options,  because  was  she  really  about  to  stuff  a  hole  full  of  ramen  noodles?  Then  again,  if  it  went  horribly  wrong,  she  could  always  just  put  the  whole  right  back.  (  That  was  probably  a  worse  idea  than  the  ramen  noodles  )  A  few.  She  was  betting  on  a  few  videos  worth  of  knowledge.  That  seemed  good  enough  for  the  time  being.  Brown  eyes  switch  upward,  still  doubtful  but  it  didn’t  resonate  fully  as  she  let  out  a  very  heavy  sigh.  ❛   Fine.  Fine.  We’ll  do  it.  Just  don’t  use  the  shrimp  kind,  I  don’t  want  the  house  smelling  like  fish.   ❜   Maybe  it’d  be  fun,  it’s  not  like  she  didn’t  make  bad  decisions  prior  to  this.  It  all  seemed  to  work  out.  ❛   What  do  we  need  besides  ramen  noodles?  Also,  we  don’t  speak  of  this  to  Anthony.  If  he’s  anything  like  me,  he’ll  tell  everyone.   ❜

“Shut up. This is going to be funny.” He shoved Steve toward the fence, “Hop it. I’m going to go tee-pee the shit out of this house.” He smiled brightly at the super soldier and then pulled himself up and over the fence. Wrapping toilet paper around a senator’s house probably wasn’t a wise choice but it’d be hilarious at the end result. “You’re the one who said you wanted to experience Halloween like a teenager.” He reminded him.

it’s been a long time  and  for  a  moment,  just  for  a  few  seconds,  the  shield  lets  herself  be  surprised.  “  did  you  fight  a  pack  of  wolves  on  THE  WAY  HERE  by  any  chance?  “  valerie  allows  herself  to  believe  there  was  something  that  made  him  not  able  to  come  back  for  so  long.  still,  some  higher  instinct  in  her  (  the  one  responsible  for  protecting  the  captain  )  makes  her  step  back  to  let  him  in.  just  out  of  sight,  she  frowns,  looking  for  injury.
