“mr.stark…tony, it’s fine. I would have to actually work hard to get my own office.“ and she is alright where she is, even if yes, she does dream of a better job, but everyone does on that regard. “yeah, a bad guy to me is luke from the I.T who keeps messing up my computer files every day.” bad guys for tony stark? aliens, secret organizations, other dudes on suits, honestly, what a wild life. she continues the motion, wrapping the bandage with ease and making sure it was tight enough but just loose enough it wouldn’t bother him. “still, iron or not, you gotta be careful. a lot of people around here would miss you.” she is sure pepper would be among those. and he is very charismatic, in his own, almost insufferable kind of way. 

1986 - DUM-E: DUM-E was Tony’s first attempt at Artificial Intelligence. He was created at home in his father’s lab with stuff he found lying around the shop that had been discarded by Howard. DUM-E code was crude and partially incomplete at the time, but after a couple years Tony finished it but it still remained crude. DUM-E was capable of learning to a certain degree and doing basic things but that was all. After the creation of the other two bots Tony fixed up DUM-E’s physical form but left his programming alone because he felt like it didn’t need fixing, DUM-E was fine how he was. DUM-E got his name from little twerp 16yo Tony who was frustrated by the bots clumsy and blundering actions in the lab.

1988 - Butterfingers: a year after Tony graduated from MIT he created his second A.I. bot Butterfingers. Butterfingers code was slightly more sophisticated than DUM-E’s and had more learning and adapting capabilities than DUM-E but she was still limited to mostly basic things. she was created to be a lab assistant, with a claw arm, more mobility, capable of reach and even climbing. she got her name ‘Butterfingers’ because in the beginning her claw was unable to grasp most things without dropping them until Tony fixed the issue, but every time she’d drop something he’d tease her and say she had butter fingers. she latched onto the name.

1993 - U: two years after the death of his parents, Tony created U. he started off as a drunk project, but later was adapted to be an assistant. both in the lab and out of it. U’s programming is a lot more sophisticated than DUM-E’s and Butterfingers and his design is sleeker, slightly smaller than the other two. whereas DUM-E is bulky and Butterfingers is tall and sturdy, U is slim and short. U latched onto his name in the same way Butterfingers latched onto hers, because Tony was having trouble deciding on a name and would say ‘you, do this’ or ‘you do that’ when referring to the bot. U is the only bot connected to other things in the house, like the TV, coffee pot, lights, etc.

2002 - JARVIS: after the death of Edwin Jarvis, Tony began creating an AI in honor of him. JARVIS took much longer to create because Tony had bigger ideas for him. JARVIS is the most complex of all of Tony’s AI’s, capable of learning much like the others, but to a degree far beyond their reach. he is even capable of writing his own codes and thinking completely independent from Tony, though that is not something Tony originally programmed him with. unlike the bots, JARVIS does not have one physical form. he is in the house, the cars, Tony’s suits and satellites, etc. JARVIS is often described as being more human than AI.

2013 - ULTRON: following the events of the first Avengers movie, Tony, having seen the threat beyond Earth, was afraid that the ragtag group of people Fury through together wasn’t enough protection. his fear only grew when the team split and went their separate ways once Thor and Loki were up in Asgard. he created ULTRON to be the first line of defense, but scrapped him when his code proved to be too volatile in the trial run, and the various runs after in his search of weeding out the problem. ULTRON made a reappearance in 2015, his programming boosted far beyond that of even JARVIS by the aid of the Mind Stone.

2013 - FRIDAY: Tony created FRIDAY because of what happened in 2012 during the Mandarian incident. he created her to be a backup in case he ever lost contact with JARVIS again. she was only in the suits as part of the emergency protocol, and put into the tower and his cars as part of the emergency protocol in 2015 after ULTRON destroyed JARVIS. she was integrated into everything as the main AI in 2016 when Tony failed to get JARVIS back online. she is later integrated into Pepper's armor in 2023.

2016 - KAREN: KAREN was created solely for Peter for his web-slinging adventures, but Tony still has access to KAREN, and she is programmed to reach out to him if Peter is in dire need of help. KAREN is connected with FRIDAY as well. KAREN is integrated into the first Spider-Man suit Tony made for Peter and the Iron Spider suit. KAREN is on the same level as JARVIS and FRIDAY, but is on the same restrictions as Peter until he advances past all the training protocols Tony put in place.

LATELY, IT WAS NOT OFTEN THAT TONY MET IN PERSON WITH THE HUNTERS HE HELPED. though in the right circles, it was pretty well known that the Tony Stark was part of the darker side of the world. most considered it a myth, so few of the original hunters and families he and his mother had worked with were actually still alive. part of Tony was okay with this. ever since SHIELD butted into his life in a more prominent and intrusive way, he didn’t need them knowing he moonlighted as an information hub for hunters in the supernatural world.
