14 October 2016 | Ginebra vs Meralco (PBA Governors Cup 2016, Finals Game 4) Araneta Coliseum, Cubao
"Ang ingay n'yong mag-ama!" I would often hear nanay say up until now.
Indeed, our home has never been quiet during games of Ginebra especially when tatay's around--especially when he and ate Micah are together.
That is where I grew up to--to the loud screams and applause whenever the team scores and wins. Tracing back, it started way beyond tatay's Jaworski followed through by ate Micah's childhood fandom over Caguioa and Helterbrand, to this day's fantasy of her getting married to Aguilar. :)))
I've never been really so much of a die hard fan like them but it has always been a dream to watch a game live with them. Kaya sobrang thankful ako for last night, nevermind that I was post-duty at wala pang matinong tulog. :)) It was really, really an amazing feeling pala cheering with the Kabarangays (who probably composed 11/12 of the Araneta crowd. Haha). I was hesitant at first but I found myself rising from my seat countless times and screaming out and clapping hard for the team of the masa. :)
This has been such a mighty comeback for the Gin Kings after eight(?) years of not being able to qualify in the finals. Sobrang galing ng #NeverSayDie spirit at ng paniniwala at hindi pag-iwan ng mga tagasuporta and Iâm so looking forward to the teamâs championship this year. :)
