RACISM - WHAT CAN YOU DO? π€ . . How are you using your platform to help impact change is what I was asking myself today before creating this post! Simply posting to bring awareness is not enough but itβs a small step. If you are a white person and consider yourself an ally make sure youβre doing your part to help end racism and injustice(not sure if itβll ever end and thatβs not being pessimistic itβs being realistic) π€·πΏββοΈ THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP EASE RACISM. 1. SPEAK OUT About race in racism to your family members and communities and call them out when they are being racist. π£ 2. EDUCATE YOURSELF about white supremacy and racism etc.βπΏπ©βπ» 3. TALK TO YOUR KIDS about racism and white supremacy and educate them as well.πΆπΎ 4. LISTEN TO BLACK PEOPLE and engage in meaningful discussions.ππΏ 5. VOTE in alignment of being anti racist.π³ 6. MONEY TALKS so Venmo or PayPal your black friends some money for self care because racism takes a mental and psychological trauma on us. Or donate to organizations that are helping fight to racism. Black people are being arrested for protesting, you can also donate to help them get bailed out. Linked in StoriesπΈ . . Just being aware is not enough we must TAKE ACTION! π¬ . .
