                                                                now , she doesn’t like being told what to do ; she never has , && least of all by one she hardly  knows ! it was unthinkable ! lips purse , gaze narrowing && she leans forwards just enough to close the distance between herself && the womans desk . it takes her a moment , a simple moment of inaction , where a slender hand lifts , deliberate in her movements && she oh so gently, nudges a tea cup to the very edge of the desk , gaze flickering up to the womans face with a single brow lofted .                ‘ i beg your pardon ? ‘                                                                      the tea cup is unceremoniously pushed from the desk to smash upon the floor , && only then does evelyn lean herself back within taken chair , smugness writ so clearly across those sharp features .             ‘ whoops . ‘

                     she FINISHES her drink in one move ; grin curving jawline && she’s leaning forwards with chin in her hands — amusement so heavy upon her features , a blurriness within her gaze , a tell-tale sign that perhaps she isn’t as in control of herself as she would like to make out she is .     ‘ a lie ! ‘         single finger points at the other woman over the rim of now empty glass .                ‘ come , another one . ‘

                              ‘ well , i should hardly think so ! ‘                        indignant ; hand to her collarbone as though the INNOCENT one – of course , doubtful . azure hues focus upon the other , judgement within sharp features && for a moment is she simply silent ; watching , waiting seemingly . until , finally , a quirk of rouged lips .                                                             ‘ i am , however , mad && DISAPPOINTED . ‘
