Well. This is the second part to one sketch from previous posts. I finally feel free.
Fuuuh. I've finally finished this job. Even after I made the first sketch, where did about the wounded McCoy reason, I felt the need to make a sequel. This comic has become a kind of redemption for me. I don't like pain without comfort. Let these guys continue to take care of each other.

Actually it’s 73 seconds. Data, knowing something of how human minds work, estimates that Riker will give him 60 seconds to come back (because humans prefer “round numbers”, however arbitrary the units). After 60 seconds it will take 4 seconds for Riker to fully process the conclusion that Data is, in fact, not coming back after all, and an additional 9 seconds to build to the optimum level of anxiety.
After all, comedy is timing.

Look I just think that if you’ve ever loved Star Trek, Like really loved it (not just had a passing interest or casually consumed it) then it’s gonna be a part of you forever. It injects a little whimsy in you. A little thoughtfulness and curiosity and wonder. I’ll watch Star Trek and every time I do I feel like a little kid staring up at the stars holding onto the grass. I’ll watch Star Trek and every time I’m sitting out sharing a sweater with my friend as we talk about Spock and the sun starts to set. I’ll watch Star Trek and it’s the same feeling of calm awe that I get when I sit in the aquarium.
Aliens aside it’s about humanity. It’s always about humanity and trying to understand despite it all (which I think is a core tenet of humanity). And if that compels you then it’s going to stay with you. No matter if the packaging is a bit silly. Maybe even because the packaging is silly.
Also once you love Spock I don’t think you can stop
Watching Star Trek as an adult shines new light on why my dad used to look really uncomfortable sometimes during our late-night marathons.

Ok so, I need to ask this for my own sanity- do you like it when people write things in the tags that arent necessarily related to the fic on ao3 specifically? Like here's an example of what I mean that I did- "#McCoy wears makeup #because he does in canon?? #but I never see anyone mention it #at least in fics that is" or do you find that annoying and unnecessary?

Okay but this scene. Sorry but OMG the start of The City on the Edge of Forever man. The way that after McCoy's accidental self-injection, every crewman already on duty is already over there trying to help him. The way that despite this Kirk makes them all get the Hell out of the way so that he can put himself beside him. How he just hovers over him until he goes all psychotic is just... God these two do things to my feelings~
And then Spock? Spock didn't have to go over there. He could have just let Kirk handle it. But nope. He bolted over there just as quickly as Kirk did. He's just as worried about what just happened as Kirk, as especially evident at the end with the aggressive hand-shaking. Just... damn. The way that two just care so much about their McCoy and it's so beautiful and I love it~!
