Bury A Friend (Try To Wake Up) - WIP - Hogwarts AU - In December 1962, a dark wizard in the early stages of his quest for immortality, heard tell of the ‘Deathly Hallows’. His search for these items led him to the estate of the Potter Family, the last living descendants of the Peverelle brothers.  He did not find the Hallows. What he did find was a two-year-old boy in the care of an elderly house elf.  What he did to that boy changed the course of his life forever.  The use of the cruciatus curse on children under five can have very curious effects.

This is what happened while James was gone. James won’t remember it, but he’ll have to live with it when he hears the story.
