Winter Time Summer Color Pallette.

Nostalgia wins, always. Sometimes a picture is not about the colors, elements, composition but about what the image triggers in us.

Even when the yellow carmesí works so well with the flat blueyness of the background. How the white breaks that flatness, telling a story about tension between dynamic and static, on the go vs. Living the moment, or how you can tell it was past noon and somehow you know it was near 0⁰C...

This picture — for some reason — brings me a low-level and not very euphoric joy, that result in some sort of happiness both at an aesthetic and personal level.

Been a bit MIA this last couple of weeks, but 26 is set to be like that, and it sure started before I could tell.

After a well deserved time off, an excessive amount of beach, sun and traveling inside my country to get away from the computer as much as possible and reseting my frame of reference due to a healthy processing of information, experiences, journal entries and a year that felt like 10 compressed, work has resumed.

A lot has changed in these weeks. Conversations and months of back and forth. Great things to be honest. Reasons to smile, but also reasons for a lot of silence and planning — most of it while gardening.

I've tried to put into words what 26 means to me. However it has started and it makes since to just roll with it and enjoy every single punch. This formula has been proved successful. You know; “Be in the now, seize the day, act local think global, be part of something bigger than yourself, support your team, obsess the details”. All the great stuff that makes experiences awesome.

So here's for 26! Hope you all have an incredible year, I for sure am cheering for ya'll!

Once a day I force myself to take some sort of media to avoid a lazy brain. Regardless of where I am at and the tools at hand, I need to make something.

Sometimes home, sometimes at work, at times on the road, other times in location. Macro, micro. Investing time in the observation of our medium is always time well spent.

Last night at the Cayman Islands was all about photography.

It's great to get back at of my favourite disciplines and to put my craft to use.

The Caribbean has a spot in my heart, everything here has its own way and style. Gotta love it and become a part of it, or it will chew you up and spit you out a new person.

This was my first female qualifier for this #FIFA #Concacaf process. It was also my first one as a photographer.

Thankful for the opportunity and trust despite my rusty fingers. Always looking to grow and get better at everything.
