Tijuana, Mexico 2019! I love Mexico 🇲🇽 the culture is down to the core, the food is amazing and best off it’s in my backyard. It’s a 20min drive from my house and I go so often I feel very comfortable. This picture is by the old “ped west” entrance and the sign is still there for all the visitors who come through. Unfortunately this entrance has been closed for some time and you can only enter/exit from the east side. Which does have great tacos and churros just no sign but hey just take photos of the food! 🌯 😄 if you ever travel to Tijuana you need to stop at Guadalajara Birria! It’s the best Birria I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten this at so many restaurants, I’m telling you this spot is hands down the best plus it cures any cruda. 😉 Visit 🇲🇽!!

Cabo San Lucas 2023!! So last week we went to Cabo for a vacation and wow it was SO much fun!! The energy of the people out there is great! We went into the city and got authentic Mexican soup which was phenomenal. The people want to treat you great because they want to make money, well I’m fine with that! Everyone is so nice and helpful, we went on this tour guide in the ocean where we learned about the different rock mountains. This photo is of the famous Arch in Cabo San Jose, about 20min from where we stayed. I highly recommend this location for both families and couples, even singles. There’s so much to do and see in both the city and the beach area. Also be careful where you swim, they’re very strict on which area is safe for water recreation. Its for your own safety as the waves and current is dangerous in most areas of Cabo. Generally you’ll know it’s safe if there’s a bunch of other people in the water and if the waves are super small. Overall great trip, 6 days never forgotten.

Lakers Vs. Raptors 2023!! If you can make it out to an NBA game you must do it! It’s so much fun and the crowd has so much energy. You can feel the excitement throughout the stadium regardless of who’s team is dominantly seen in the crowd. The entire time you’re there you can feel an impulse of explosive excitement. I can’t wait until my next NBA game. Also, I was really hoping to see Drake since Raptors is his team but he didn’t show. That’s okay though, this experience is one I will never forget. Love you Drake, Raptors, and Lakers, oh and the NBA all across the board. So thankful we have a platform where all fans can come together to support their team. 🏀

Isla Cozumel 2019! What a great trip! It’s a bit humid so be prepared to easily sweat. So many cool things to buy as souvenirs. We bought things you don’t see everyday, like a small ceramic bird that you add water to its spout then blow into its tail and it sounds just like a bird whistle! Our kids loved it. We brought sunscreen and water cause it was pretty hot 🥵 but even in this weather it’s still a beautiful island to visit. We got fresh iced coffee at the local shop on the corner which their coffee is pretty strong. And walked around the island learning about their culture. There are tour guides with huge groups of people that tell info about the land. We just walk by them and pick up on things said about the island then keep walking. If you know some Spanish have a conversation with the people selling items on the street. You learn more about the culture from them, like how we got to hear stories about the original Mayans and the relationship between them and the Mexicans on this island. If you haven’t been you should try to go, it’s not expensive unless you’re being hustled. 😅

In honor of 911 I post this. This memorial was put together by all the different shades of blue people in New York seen as they looked up at the sky that morning. It’s beautiful. It reminds me that we all see things through a different lens. It also reminds me to look at the beauty past the tragedy.

La Jolla Cove, California 2019. Wow how beautiful these waves are and how close we have access to the ocean. This are is huge as you can see in the distance people walking up the stairs of the cove for those who want access to lower parts. This is a must do while visiting San Diego, after all we’re mainly a beach community. There are mountains you can hike and dryer cities as you drive east away from the coastline. But San Diego has a ton of beach options and La Jolla is a nice quality beach city to visit. There’s luxury homes in the area to mesmerize at and there’s luxury shops if you want to treat yourself to something nice. La Jolla has very nice restaurants along the cove looking over the water which are a little more expensive but that view sure is worth that extra penny. My advice is eat at George’s at the Cove. Great food, cocktails and view.

Seaworld San Diego 2018. If you ever plan to travel to San Diego I highly recommend taking a trip to Seaworld. It’s perfect for all ages of family members and they have this deal where you can enjoy all day eating for an additional cost. It’s extremely worth it because it can help feed everyone. It’s supposed to be one pass per guest but when I go with just me and my daughter we share it and take turns picking the food option. We share the actual meals which they don’t have anyone going around checking so it’s easy to do. Even a family of 5 can do it, but I would get 2 passes then so there’s enough food to share per seating. Seaworld has a ton of restaurants around the park so you get to try everything. Seaworld has fireworks show every night around 10pm depending on time of year. During Halloween they have a night glow dance party for the kids. It feels like a rave but with babies. 🤣 I love living in San Diego because an amusement park like this is in my backyard. If I didn’t live here I think I would travel here often. There are so many cool things about San Diego that I’ll continue to share as I post. 🥰

Ground Zero 2022. The hardest part of my trip to New York City. I knew in my gut I was going to be an emotional wreck so I decided to do this on my first day. I wanted to get all the crying out of the way and enjoy the rest of my trip without having to brace myself for this. Ugh just thinking about this experience is a hard pill to swallow. The thousands of lives lost that day. And to be walking around the very place everything went down. I've seen so many movies but to physically be there. It's an enormous amount of grief. I took this picture because I thought it was beautiful that someone left a white rose in a name. And if you read the names it's painful to know that a woman in that tower was pregnant and didn't survive. To those who plan to visit bring tissue because you cry a lot. No need for the tour guide especially if you're easily moved. I can't imagine crying in a group... We got the self guided head sets and it was perfect. You can decide which article you're own and go at your own pace. If you opt to do the guided tour it could last up to 2 & 1/2 hours so we said nope. We did buy an American flag that has the year 2001. There's a ton of souvenirs shops around so be prepared to buy. They all accept credit so don't worry. Like I mentioned earlier, you will most likely cry. As we approach September 11 2023 I'd like to extend my condolences to everyone effected by 911 which in my eyes is everyone in America and serving over seas. Also I pray to those who lost family and friends in the attack. I know every year you're reminded and it never gets easier. May you find peace.

That one time in Cancun! Oh My Goodnessssss. If you ever go to Cancun you must stay at the Secrets The Vine! It's an all exclusive resort with different activities and luxurious venues. Driving up was just the start of this amazing adventure. Secretes provides around the clock gourmet food and drinks. The pools stay open late and the vibes are relaxing. As you walk through the halls of the resort you're constantly welcomed with staff making sure your stay is at it's best. Anything you need is answered with welcome hands. I obviously don't work for this company but I should get a cut for this post. Ahaha. Secrets! Cancun 2019!

Peter Pan Donuts 2022! For you donut lovers and Spider Man Fans here is your must do travel destination. These donuts are delicious and they have a huge variety to pick from. This shop is in the heart of Brooklyn where you'll find the line out the door mainly because the donuts are amazing but also because the shop is pretty small. When I went I got there around 6:30am directly from the airport/airtrain/subway/walking. Getting around New York alone deserves it's own blog. Ha! Anyways, Peter Pan Donut was seen in the movie Spider Man No Way Home where MJ (Zendaya) worked. It's pretty neat to watch it in theaters and then be there in real life. Something I learned while enjoying these donuts is mostly every shop/store in Brooklyn keeps their inventory below ground. So they unload trucks in the street into the ground. Look at the photo, do you see that metal square at the bottom left corner? That's a door, they open it up and unload all the store supplies into there. Then the shop has access from inside the store to bring up what they need. This blew my mind when I seen it! But it makes perfect sense! New York is Vertically large, so of course they would need to maximize space in this way! They have no options to store their inventory in any other way. Since I went so early in the morning there was no line and the majority of the customers were on their way to work so no time for lagging. My advice is do the same, go very early and during the week. You'll thank me later. ;)

Flying over Mexico City 2019. I love flying and all the amazing views that come with it. To be above the clouds where you normally look up to see them, here you look down. 30,000 feet in the air is the closest most of us will get to outer space. It's a liberating feeling to be among the clouds simply floating through time. As for this travel destination, you can literally fly anywhere and see spectacular views comparable to what's seen in my photo.

Big Bear 2019, a sketchy drive to the top of big bear mountain especially if you aren’t use to driving in the snow. Once you’re there it’s a breathe of fresh air and relief that you’ve made it. Absolutely stunning sights to see during the drive up such as the one seen in this photo. I strongly advise you to use the restroom before heading up the mountain as there could be traffic and there are no pit stops once you start. Another tip is to pack snacks and water for the drive and be prepared for any travelers that might be susceptible to car sickness. There’s two routes you can take to the top, one which has lots of turns promoting car sickness but is the shorter route. The other is driving flat around the bottom of the mountain to the backend where the road up is pretty straight yet longer since you drive around the base of the mountain. Also, always pack chains even if you don’t use them because if there’s enough snow the park rangers patrolling the area will make you turn back around. After all this, the views and time spent at Big Bear is absolutely worth all the effort. I recommend this travel destination to families and couples. 🥰 🏔️❄️

Fisherman's Warf 2021! If you haven't been it's a great travel destination when you're visiting the bay area. There's crowds of people year round and the best time to go is either in spring or in fall since it can get pretty hot. They have the paid parking in the center as seen in my photo which is super convenient. There's ton of different vendors to buy fresh fish from and of course hustlers selling cool keepsake items on the street. I strongly recommend the street hot dogs, they're better than anywhere else including NY. These are cooked on a portable grill right in front of you and you can ask for it wrapped in bacon. They're toped with grilled onions/tomatoes/jalapeños and ofc ketchup/mayo/mustard. There's a ton to see and buy here even people doing mini shows in the street trying to make a dollar. This photo was taken from Applebee's across the street and since the restaurant is on the second floor it gave us the perfect view. Go there for the photos and maybe a cocktail, then get authentic food from the fish market or a street hot dog! Yum! (:

NYC 2022! Katz's Deli! Most important place to eat in New York City. I wish everyone in the world had a chance to taste their pastrami on rye. In all honesty, I didn't think I would like pastrami and I know I don't like rye but I was in NY! I wanted an authentic deli sandwich the way New Yorkers eat it. That bad boy came with house mustard and a root beer that looked like it time traveled from the 50's. BEST sandwich I've ever had. And the deli guys working behind the counter treat everyone like a New Yorker. Ha! Order fast or move out the way is their motto. ;)

Alcatraz 2021! Unfortunately this was still during Covid sensitive times so we were unable to walk the grounds of this prison but wow! Just the site of it was pretty cool and a little eerie.

San Francisco 2021. This picture was taken from City Cruises, which I highly recommend everyone who visits SF to do! It's great, you get a full meal with an adult beverage and a FANTASTIC view of the city. <3
