Wooden "scarecrow" dogs in ball fields. This afternoon I biked through a park and noticed these wooden dogs propped up in the vacant ball fields. I presume to keep the geese off them. I hadn't seen them before. They seemed to work though but only around the area of the false dogs. There were plenty of water fowl grazing just pass them.
