I wanted to show a close up of how my top surgery scar is healing. I had double incision top surgery and my scars connect in the center. When I first got my surgery, my scars were extremely raised and dark. But, everyday they are getting lighter and becoming a part of my skin. As of right now, the sides are pretty much faded into my skin but the center is still raised. I’ve been using steri strips, aquaphor, and coconut oil on my scar and I feel like it’s been helping so much. From the first day I saw my chest, to now, I’ve never felt happier. I can’t even think of myself post op, it just feels like that was a different life time. But, I can’t wait to see how my chest continues to heal these next few months. But don’t worry, even during it’s healing I never have shame taking my shirt off, I truly love the feeling. ❤️‍🔥
