Transplanar is an all-transgender, POC-led poetic dark fantasy actual play series set in a non-colonial, anti-orientalist multiverse. ✨❌✨ Our current campaign, THE CHAOS PROTOCOL, follows three Doomed agents of a secret transplanar syndicate as they answer distress calls across the multiverse.

I'm one of those GM's who can't help but add house rules to a TTRPG. Its not because I think theres anything wrong with the rules, its because I grew up playing with legos and little bits of game design is easier than big chunks.

Each week, we’ll spotlight one of our four main shows with a series of prompts, streams, and special features. In order of release, we have:

I've been watching transplanar every time I feel overcome with despair about being trans (right now mostly in respect to the uk supreme court ruling last week, though it is a feeling I get a lot unfortunately) and like it's working but at what cost

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE ARC 3 FINALE OF THE CHAOS PROTOCOL ON TRANSPLANAR RPG??? (Spoilers ahead ofc [for every arc so far]) SO MANY EMOTIONS!! HOW DOES THIS SHOW MANAGE TO HURT ME IN A WAY THAT BARELY NEEDS ANY COMFORT?? HOW DOES IT MAKE ME LOVE IT?? Ok I'm done yelling. Not raving though. I /know/ I'm gonna be watching that finale again real soon. I might rewatch the whole arc idek atp. It's s o much and I don't know how they've managed to make something so heartwrenching and beautiful. I will probably be reeling from that for days. I love every pc characters' story lines.
I have so much to say about all of it. I could go on for a frankly obscene amount of time about TCP. So I'll just put this one truth out there for rn. Transplanar's The Chaos Protocol is an amazing work of art that is an intense labor of love and I am eternally grateful that I get to witness it. I would recommend anyone to go watch it (it's on YouTube.) and be mindful of the content warnings, they are there for a reason. Like fr.
