Welcome to Transgender Tech Support!
Who Am I?
24601!
In seriousness, my name is Mickey! Iām a 22 year old gay transgender man who uses He/Him pronouns! Iām super emo and super into computers!
Iām also a big nerd, with childhood fixations on LOTR, D&D, and OH MY GOOOD ZELDA i love Zelda. I recently got into MTG too!
Why run a tech support blog?
The goal is for r/techsupport to merge with my home town of Tumblr, where iāve resided since 2014. I canāt fix every issue but I can sure try, and while it helps fix your issue, I get some real-world experience in fixing things!
What differentiates you from google?
Not much, actually. I am better then using an AI, though, because I can research your issue and not provide you an endless feedback loop of āhm, try this!ā
This question is phrased this way for a reason, though! Currently I am a Google certified IT support specialist, with 6 overall pieces of paper that say I know how to handle cybersecurity, operating systems, sys admin, computer networking, and one thatās just called ātech support fundamentalsā.
Basically, i wasted 8k on a program to attempt to get a better job and still work retail, so I made this blog to try and help some people!
This blog is not a representation of myself professionally and does not offer any actual servicing of computers, wearable devices, or software. This blog aims to help users fix their own issues.

āPrincesses of Computingā/āThe road to computing was walked in high heelsā
This tag is used to reference any number of the countless women who had hands in creating, maintaining, and establishing computer science and engineering. In fact, āSoftware Engineerā as a term was coined by Margret Hamilton! She aimed for computing to be seen as a respected profession <3
