guys the cutest fucking thing happened today, im shook. so we have this voice training teacher in our department and i don’t know him very well but last year i had a class with him and he accidentally misgendered me before correcting himself. i didn’t think much about it because it happens all the time but today he saw me and asked if he could speak with me. he asked me if i remembered when that happened and i told him yeah i did but it was okay. then he said “you know you don’t have to tell people it’s fine. you can correct them and tell them what you prefer to be called - you have enough to be dealing with.” this was really sweet and i thanked him but then he offered me voice coaching for a couple of hours every week for free to help me lower my voice. i legit nearly burst into tears then and there: this MAN.
