Bonus: if you need to use a VPN for any reason go to settings -> advanced -> and select the VPN as the only available adapter, this makes it so it can ONLY download or upload (seed) via your VPN. I’m saying this because portraying these acts not as sexual violence, to reframe it as “sex,” is extremely harmful, real-life harmful. Victims didn’t have “bad sex,” or “rough sex,” or “regretted having sex.” Perpetrators will use these kinds of terms to hide and obfuscate their actions to escape scrutiny, and I do think even in a fictional setting that adopting similar language is…not good! I think you should always fight against that narrative, including in fictional work about said type of violence.
