Project Update (Token Burn & WirePurse Exchange) – March 2020

2020 has been an exciting yet busy year for the Transcodium team, with the continuous effort to improve the project’s status, we have decided to burn 20, 000, 000 TNS from the total supply of 88,600,000.

The 20,000,000 TNS to be burnt is part of the unsold tokens after the token distribution event.

Every month a total amount of 200,000 to 500,000 tokens will be burnt based on the market…

WirePurse Giveaway Suspended

We regret to inform WirePurse users that we are suspending listing giveaways until further notice.

Our plan was to improve adoption through listing giveaways, attracting new user to use WirePurse app, while we observed that the adoption is very low as per the plan the giveaways was to be funded with some of the profits through wallet activities which is very low. For now the giveaways will be suspended until we reconsider it again.

Transcodium releases new web version of WirePurse along with an exciting airdrop plan

Project Update - WirePurse Web (August 1st, 2019)

After the successful launch of WirePurse android app, we immediately started testing and enhancing the web version, Thanks to our awesome community, we were able to improve the user interface & experience (UI & UX respectively) during the testing phase.

During testing, there was a need to reimplement some existing components & libraries to help improve speed, navigation, and total user experience.

Initially, we vigorously tested the user interface (UI) library, the first beta version was built using Ant-Design user interface library based on vue framework, but was later replaced with iview UI library after several failed attempts to reduce the overall size of the final build of the application. With the help of a webpack-analyzer plugin, our team was able to trace the root problem to the UI library (Ant-Design) which was replaced with an improved and lighter alternative (iview).

Again, using bundlephobia.com, we were able to find a well-optimized and lighter alternatives to several libraries & components which would have hindered the total user experience of the application.

To speed up development, our team decided to utilize a progressive web app (PWA) architecture & web components application development paradigm using the vue web framework. This will enable us to kill two birds with a stone, thus using the same codebase for the web application and desktop application (Mac & Windows desktop).

Finally, new exciting features such as a realtime asset fiat quote with support for over 200 different fiat currencies were added to TNS Mothership.

We are constantly working to provide the best product for the ease and comfort of our users.

Project Update - April 2019

At Transcodium, we are always concerned about the security of our users, this is important as we are dealing with assets with monetary value. previously, we implement a Two Factor Authentication (2FA) authentication on our token sale dashboard to protect our user from losing their funds and it was very successful.

   In addition to the email verification code , we have also  implemented  the Two Fatctor Authentication on WirePurse android app & web version, providing an extra layer of security. Two Factor Authentication  will protect your login as well as your fund thus preventing any unauthorized access.

But what actually is Two Factor Authentication ?,  Two-factor authentication strengthens access security by requiring multiple factors or methods to verify your identity. Two Factor Authentication  protects against phishing, social engineering, and password brute-force attacks and secures your logins from attackers exploiting weak or stolen credentials.

   In addition, we have also built an internal monitoring system which monitors and tracks unusual activities by the user in case of any theft or hack. This layer provides extra security to make users comfortable storing their assets in WirePurse.

WirePurse App Rating Certification

In the process of migrating from the closed beta to an open beta testing  where the app will be available to the public, We applied for an app rating certification from a third party firm which involves completing a series questionnaires. The app rating certification determines the appropriate age group suitable for the app based on the geographical location.

Development Update - 7/10/2018

Hello, we are pleased to update you with the progress of the development. We are approaching a near completion of the Transcodium wallet ( TNS Money). This update is soley based on TNSMoney android and its backened.

FinEngine

Financial Engine, also known as FinEngine is a java server financial data aggregator app which collects live data from different exchanges & markets and makes them available to our products and apps in real time.

FinEngine is a work in progress and we are working very hard to improve  it. Currently only few exchanges or markets are support, more will be added later. FinEngine is hosted on github and can be found on : https://github.com/transcodium/finEngine

TNSMoney + FinEngine Integration

FinEngine has been successfully integrated  into TNSMoney to provide a real time price  update to users. In the near future, price tracking and alert feature support will be added to TNSMoney, all thanks to FinEngine.

TNSMoney Crypto Asset Withdrawal

Coin and token asset withdrawal feature has been successfully completed on TNSMoney, both on the client side and on the backened ( TNS Mothership ) . User will be able to generate multiple digital addresses for any assets. This will enable you generate unique addresses for every payment request.

What is Next ?

We are still working very hard to complete the wallet with add extra feature support. Next update will be centered on Withdrawals and security hardening.
