I don't need the chatgpt random algorithm to write emails for me because I already have a custom and 100% flawless algorithm called "writing the exact same three emails with the names changed"
#1: "hi [landlord], hope you're doing well! [apartment thing] is [broken/a problem]. we need it [fixed/replaced/handled] by [date]. let us know when you'll send someone over so we can be here to let them in. thanks so much, [op]"
#2: "hi [professor], hope you're doing well! unfortunately, I'm [sick/stuck at work/dead] and won't be able to submit [assignment] by [due date]. could I please have an extension? if not, is there anything else I could do to make up this credit? thanks so much, [op]"
#3: "hi [customer service person], hope you're doing well! unfortunately, [product] [didn't arrive/is broken/wrong color/gave me a rash/poisoned my crops] and I'd like to receive a [refund/replacement]. here is the documentation of the order and photos of [broken thing/wrong thing/my rash/dead crops]. thanks so much, [op]"
"but op I work in an office I have to write way more emails than you" well that's your fault for working in an office i got nothing to do with that
Writing an email is so easy and I will tell you how it's done. This is the advice is for everyone with an email job, but you can apply it to normal human interaction.
The FIRST SENTENCE is the thing you want the recipient to do. Do not make them guess.
I want to let you know about ... (This email is to inform someone of something not to ask them to do anything)
Could you please do ... (This is a request. You want them to do something).
I'm looking into x and wondering if you can help me (this is also a request but for information instead of an action).
People do not want to read an email and even if they do read it, most people are skimming and not interested. Tell them what you want first, then provide context or other information (when you need a thing is often key). If the email is informational, you can even add "you don't need to do anything, this is just to keep you informed!" People will appreciate not having to figure out what you want from them.
If you can't articulate what you want the recipient to do with the message, you are not ready to email them. I read too many emails where I have no idea what the person wants from me.
Put the most important thing first and everyone will be impressed! AI cannot do this for you because it can't tell what's important! Only you know that, which is why you must write your own emails.
to everyone who wants help with emails: go through the notes of this post. there are ideas I've never thought of and plenty of scripts for all kinds of situations/jobs
The thing about Miss Piggy is that she kind of has a Roger Rabbit comedy superpower where she wins nearly any conceivable fight she's in. But unlike other characters of which that's true, like say, Bugs Bunny, who tend to win because they make the opponent play the game with their rules, Miss Piggy wins because the joke is that she can beat the shit out of literally anybody.
Bugs Bunny beats Thanos by setting up an airport and making him take off the Infinity Gauntlet to go through the metal detector.
Miss Piggy beats Thanos by karate chopping him in the face and sending him flying.
When one of my moots that I've labelled 'famous' in my head interacts with me

"Are your biceps huge, or are they just enormous? Ninth, please tick the correct box."
i'll be honest. If you can't deal with someone wording things badly then you aren't going to be an ally to autistic people or indeed anyone with a developmental disability, intellectual disability, or disability that impacts language.
also you are never going to be safe for people for whom english is their second language. if someone clarifies their meaning and apologises and you can't accept that over the original wording then don't bother pretending to be autism friendly.
and like part of my autism is that i become convinced that the way i interpret words is the way that they're meant. my autism is disabling to my communication abilities. i have poor emotional regulation, i jump to conclusions. a lot of my reactions are informed by prior negative experiences. i can and probably have been overly defensive in the past.
and i've been misinterpreted so much and had my words picked over and mocked for saying the wrong things and mocked for being unable to say anything at all and it always feels devastating. it's ironic that the same disability that has me treated poorly would have me react poorly to a similar situation, but that's just how it is.
so i'm not saying you can perfectly manage all your reactions just by trying hard enough. especially considering how much disability affects these things. but i do think if you are completely unwilling to give autistic and other DD/ID people leeway for how they word things or understand that they have a disability that impacts their communication and give us grace then you aren't a disability advocate.
crowley is just so excited to have demon dean by his side and then quickly learns the dean he loves is human dean is soooo annoyed by this fact lmao
nothing in the WORLD as devastating to your self esteem than people saying a book you enjoyed is āoverratedā and āhas no substanceā or is āpretentious for the sake of itā. like oh i get it! iām some sort of easily bamboozled idiot šš good to know!

John haunting Deanās narrative in spn 2.02 / 4.16 / 2.01 / 6.01 / 2.19 / 2.22 / 4.16
I was thinking about characters that haunt the narrative and AFTG and I was ruminating over who the one who fills that role the most, like maybe Kayleigh Day, or Mary Hartford, or Elodie in Jeanās books, or even Riko.
But itās Neil isnāt it. He is the character who haunted every narrative. Kevin was devastated when he realized who Neil was, said āof course we remember youā as if there was no other possibility. Riko had a public meltdown when he found out them basicaly tried to drag Neil to his side. Jean called Neil his āmisplaced forever partnerā and cared so deeply for him without ever even meeting him. Stuart Hartford clearly loved his missing nephew so much that he made a deal with the FBI and risked pissing off the Moriyamas to save him from his father. Ichirou Moriyama himself met in person with Neil to actually hear him out, then killed his own brother because Neil implied he should.
Mans was haunting the narrative of half of the people in AFTG without even knowing it and thatās exactly why his reappearance threw a bomb into the order of things so much so that the story ends with Riko dead, Nathaniel Wesninski and half his people dead, the Moriyama empire entirely altered, Tetsugi removed from power, Kevin finally free, and Jean on his way to being free.
Neil Josten is what happens when the character that haunts the narrative comes back.

i think its fun when people use the trope of vampires thinking that werewolves smell like shit but its especially funny to me when they say a werewolf smells like 'wet dog' . like specifically WET dog? not dry dog? something about werewolves makes them smell damper than any normal dog even if theyre dry as a bone? fascinating implications. wet werewolf vs creepy vampire. much to consider.
yeah thatās a common mistake actually, a dusty periwinkle hanky means you like receiving butterfly kisses but that shade of morning mist means you wanna get killed with a pipe wrench
