Made a lot more music friends who have pets to get my puppy fix. Reconnected with a friend from middle school. Won some more piping medals. Got promoted to my band’s intermediate pipe corps. Started learning the uilleann pipes. Picked up German longsword. Joined a book club that reads almost exclusively queer romance novels (someday we will try another sci fi/fantasy). Traveled to several new places. Walked along the Mississippi/Louisiana border (would not recommend). Stage managed a fair number of community theatre productions. Got meowed at by a drunk older woman who ended the night nearly faceplanting in a flower bed on her way home. Got a second passport. Started volunteering for the nations archives transcription group. Decorated my apartment. Grew edible tomatoes and basil. Went to a house concert. Went to my high school and uni reunions. Stayed at a bar til closing time with a cute girl (not a date). Went to a bagpipe conference and met some of the best pipers in the world.
