Bardock: Father of Goku

“Do you want to spar?” those words were spoken on Vegeta hundreds of times in a single day. After all there are fewer pleasures in life greater then doing what you love, except for doing what you love with the people you liked most. Saiyans were no exceptions. Fighting for fun was something done between brothers, crewmates, dear friends, and parent and child. But the activity took on a whole other meaning when you asked someone you were into! It was unwritten rule, that when you came up close to a girl, and asked her that very question with a suggestive grin, that you were practically asking her out to go on what the aliens called a ‘date’.

Today just so happened to be the day for the date, Gine had agreed to have with him. He had has asked her about 5 days ago, he had also known that it was beyond stupid to have gone with his crew on a quick mission before hand even if it was an easy one. He had wanted the bonus that came attached with it, since he had plans for the extra money, least he did if all went well. For now he was mostly paying the price for his rash behavior. He was just past any settlement and to the point where could start speeding and stop being cautious. A gust of wind whipped around him momentarily as he charged his ki, and streaked across the sky, in search of their meeting point, a small lake oasis. He could not afford to be late, showing up to a sparring session late meant you were a coward, showing up to a special sparring session late meant you were a loser!Something shimmery caught his eye, causing him to smile it was the reflection of the setting suns on the water. Without wasting a moment Bardock plunged himself head first, he wreaked of healer fluid, and he wanted to wash up just encase he got Gine in a hold or better yes, she got him in one. After resurfacing for air he swam to the bank. Stepping out he removed his shirt, just in time to see Gine coming towards him. She seemed lovelier today then he’d ever seen her. Maybe because she was out in the suns light, the breeze causing her unruly blob to blow around her face framing in a lovely fashion. Normally she hid in a shadowy corner of the meet packing plant.
